Licensing
You can use ClearDuty without a licence for as long as you like in evaluation mode. A licence is needed when the results go into production use.
Evaluation mode
- The sample data works fully.
- Your own data is analysed for the first 25 users.
- Exports are named
EVALUATION_…and marked as an evaluation copy.
Editions

| Enterprise | Several SAP systems and clients, the ClearDuty Connector, single sign-on through your identity provider, ruleset workshop and onboarding. |
Entering a key
- Open Settings → Licence.
- Paste the key (it starts with
CD1-) and choose Activate. - Each analyst enters the key once in their own browser.
The key is checked in your browser against the publisher's digital signature. Nothing is sent anywhere. The customer name on the licence appears in the header and in every audit pack.
Renewals
A renewal or a higher user count is a new key: paste it over the old one. Licences usually run for 12 months.
